Local Transport
Chengdu has two airports: Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU). Currently, all international flights operate exclusively at Tianfu Airport Terminal 1 (T1), while domestic flights use both Tianfu Airport Terminal 2 (T2) and Shuangliu Airport (T1 and T2). Please check carefully which airport your flight stops at. Tianfu Airport requires additional travel time. We recommend departing early, especially during peak hours (7-9 am & 5-7 pm) when traffic congestion may occur. Our staff and volunteers are happy to provide personalized transportation advice upon request.
